I picked up my core system in Currys in Telford, i went in to look at a HD telly and noticed a tiny "in stock" flyer stuck up on the COD2 test station thingy, so i asked and hey presto, "we had 4 in this morning, would you like one?". That was right after Christmas.
Currys Aberystwyth have wired controllers, Memory cards, wireless adapters, (Premium and core bundles i think), all the games and some cables, but all the cables are gone now!!
