I can only speak for myself but I got my 360 last Friday (Premium from GAME) and I've had to send it back to Microsoft because it barely worked at all. As I said in an earlier post I had more problems with the 360 in 24 hours than numerous other consoles in 10 years. I thought all of the news on the Internet about them being faulty was scare-mongering but now I'm not so sure.
When I rang DHL this morning to arrange for my faulty console to be picked up, the lady asked what it was and when I told her I asked whether they'd had many beinf returned and she replied they'd been taking a lot of faulty 360s back. Make of that what you will.
I don't want to influence someone into not buying one - far from it - but it's certainly something to bear in mind when parting with £300+. Hopefully I will get a replacement and everything will be OK.
