sale of goods act
3 months???
it is not for the shop to decide, sale of goods act is uk law and can not be set by shops, It states that any item returned within 6 months of purchessed can be refunded or repaired and it is deemed the fault was there at the time of purchess so the onus is on the retailer. If it is within 6 months they have to prove an item has been mistreated if its after 6 months then you have to prove the fault was there at time of purchess. A manufacturer warrenty is something diffrent and is additional cover as is retailers extended warranties.
