D-Link DI-624+
Hi i got the dlink DI-624+ and the xbox 360 wireless networking adapter.
I,v connected the router to my modem and my pc using the instructions and i,v connected the adapter to my xbox 360.
when i try to connect it says the wireless connection is not connected.
I do not have security on it (WEP key or WPA passphrase).
does anybody have any idea on what i should do.
i called microsoft they made my try alot of stuff and it didnt work and i called d-link no help. does anybody know what i should do.
One last thing microsoft said my router is 100% compatible with xbox 360 live.

I have done this also and its a no go, with the latest firmware from the D-link website, complete waste of time.

The DI-624+ does not work with the XB360 network adapter, it's just not supported. The only thing you can do is to buy a different adapter.

I have the configuration you describe and it works fine. Do you have any other wireless cards connected to your router? It must be either config (i.e. mis-config) or a range/interference problem. Try putting the two devices closer together. Check the protocols, I set my to 802.11g without Turbo, as MS doesn't support 802.11b+ or the g with turbo.
Do you see anything in the logs on the D-Link router?

Wait.. Paul are you saying you got your DI-624+ router to connect to the Xbox 360 wireless adapter??
If so then we need details and stat because I think we are all under thew impression (including MS) that the D)-624+ wireless cannot connect to Xbox Live.

I have this problem connecting using wire (patch cable). I have tried every setting on the 624 possible. Also, the 360 xbox live used to work many months ago. Anyone with a clue, please help.

make sure you don't have the firmware above 2.70...
