This site is full of people asking for help to connect their xbox's on line with out having to buy the xbox network adaptor, but iv not seen any evidence of anyone actually being helped!!!
Im making one last effort (or challenge if you like!!)to any switched on cookie to help me out....This is my story:
Can i connect through a laptop which is on a wireless network using the cable that came with the xbox? so far i have only got this far: network adaptor is 'wired'
IP address is 'confirmed',(sorry was confirmed but is not now!
DNS also keeps failing??
Is there something i need to do through the laptop? (i have turned off the firewall).
i do have a Linksys wireless-G network adaptor, would that plug into the back of the xbox?
