Weird Xbox Live problem
Ever since the last maintenance, I've been unable to connect to Live. The weird thing is, my connection passes the Live test with flying colors, which means I CAN connect. But after it tries to connect (like when I turn the console on) it takes me back to the "Connect to Xbox Live" screen as though I'm not connected, but I still get the pop-up notices that "so-and-so is online," which means I AM connected, but just can't access Live. Also, when I start a game, I can view my Friends List and messages and whatnot (I can't play online because I only have a Silver membership).
I tried it at a friend's house last night and it connected without any problems. It took a while to connect, so I assume it downloaded the latest update. Tried it again at home and I still have the same problem.
I'm using a Speedtouch 580 wireless router which worked brilliantly before the last maintenance. I've reset both the Xbox 360 and router to factory settings, but that hasn't helped.
