My plug & charge also requires the console to be turned on. Got my plug 7 play from argos today have given up waiting for play.com and payed the extra £2 to pickup from argos much better in my opinion.
Secondly I have no problems with my wireless network adapter it works like a breeze never drops the connection and was very easy to setup.
I have a 3rd party VGA cable as my HDTV only has VGA and HDMI inputs why microsoft have not made an HDMI cable is beyond me.
Still the difference between SD and HD is most noticable as before I got my VGA lead I was on the stardard scart lead.
