NYKO intercooler
this is an excellent piece of kit..ive had mine for about a week and in my opinion a must buy product for the 360. It clips to the back and has 3 fans that draw the heat out of your 360 keeping it nice and cool. Seriously i have done 5-6 gaming sessions and the 360 is not hot one bit and also i have had no game freezes in oblivion. Any one else got one and what do you think ?

After reading many user reviews of the cooler i have ordered it.Hows it working skamer,seems highly reccommended by people.

it works very well, my machine remains cool even after 4-5 hours solid gaming..and i dont know if this is as a result of the NYKO intercooler but i suffered from the odd game freezes in oblivion but since putting it on i have had no game freezes, and i would recommend this to everyone with a 360.

Pah,just got the Cooler and it gives me 3 red lights and no power,i take it off and it the 360 works fine.
Looks like i've got a duffer :(

Well i personally would tell u guys not to touch it with a barge pole - got mine today - connected it now my 360 is DEAD!
I regret this big time - got mine from www.divineo.co.uk too - maybe i was just unlucky - but like i said 360 DEAD - thatd £300 down the drain.

You do realise xbox 360's have this new thing called a warranty. Call them and they will sort it.

Yeah microsoft said they wouldnt replace it (as non official add ons not covered in their policy) but blagged a new ne from retailer :P - as it was only 6 weeks old....but still i know wont be buying no un official products for 360 especially ones that pluig into power support - i build PC'c and thinking abt what i did it was dumb should of known better - AVOID THIS PRODUCT IS MY ADVICE!

Hey i had the same thing plugged it in 3 red lights took it out worked again,so i moved xbox away from the power supply tryed it again making sure that the cooler snapped into place properly bingo been working real sweet since.
Having this to close to the power supplt will cause this to shut down because of the heat blown from the fans onto the power supply wich will cut off when it eceeds its safety temp.

To the guy who's 360 got broken....
You actually TOLD microsoft that you were using a 3rd party addon, and never just said that your 360 just failed by itself?
Have you got any brain cells?
At least you got it replaced by the retailer, but still...

The intercooler is designed to reduce overall heat inside the machine. This will only have a very marginal effect on the components that regularly break down in 360's due to heat. Still any reduction could extend the life of such a delicate machine. Most retailers will swap dud machines particularly GAME who have a deal with Msoft to cover the whole warranty period!!! I have been able to change my 360 3 times at Game but now the warranties nearly over I hope it don't happen again.

well a long time after my original post and just to give an update...i stopped using the intercooler ages ago, a few reported cases of it melting to the back of the 360 and i have not sufferd for it. PS the machine i was playing oblivion on with the intercooler still broke down and had to get replaced
