The Final on those missing HDD''''s
Hello just thought i'd post a final message to update everyone on the situation.
I've been on the phone this morning on behalf of everyone on the site (including myself) whos hard drives went missing to find out what really happened.....
Apparently the way orders are done through gamestation is that when a item comes in stock orders are taken (as is the money) for the item.
However in the case of the HDD there is already a huge long list of people on pre-orders so they get them 1st. The person i was talking to even said that only 3 have come in since before christmas.
Therefore everyone who ordered have now recieved a full refund which should of gone through on monday for everyone. No emails have been sent but everyone has been sent a letter of appology through the post and (possibly) a £5 gift token for what as simply been a computer error.
They are currently sorting through the problem to ensure it doesn't happen again so if your item still says 'dispatched' on there website don't worry the refund has been given.
As for future purchases via gamesation I am now satisfied that the matter is resolved however i'm still pritty peeed off it happened in the 1st place. I shelled out a fiver for some marketplace points to download stuff and now I can't.
Oh and as for any news on stock, apparently gamesation is now due to be getting around 3 or 4 a week. However the number of customers on pre-orders is HUGE so its unlikely any HDD's are going to be available untill several months from now.
