Post about Play.com
Personally, I'm not saying I won't use play.com again. What I am saying is their customer service sucks. Yes, we all know that it's microsoft who make the 360.
What bugs me is that every crumb of info I've got about this I'd had to ask for myself. Not once have we had an email from play.com telling us the latest situation. They're a big company - I don't believe they have "NO" information about their own supplies.
Surely they don't open their door one morning and find there's a microsoft van sat outside. Surely they have some inkling about their supplier deliveries and numbers .... ?!
Even if that were the case, (and they didn't know about when they should expect lorries of 360s to turn up), my next point is perfectly valid.
Why, when I rang up their hotline (and emailed), could they not tell me where in the queue my order was ? The girl said "We don't have that information". If it's done on a first come, first served basis (rightly so), surely it's not beyond the wit of man to work out how many orders are in front of mine.
Poor customer service - they won't tell us because it suits them.
Thankfully this forum exists. I'm hitting Game most dinners now.
