Larry - that sounded a painful admission. Think you may be right though...
On a related note, is this the most botched up launch in history ? I have never seen anything like the posts on this board.
Looking back to the PS2 launch (when Sony officially registered EVERY pre order placed, and wrote to that person individually to tell them when and where 'their' console would be) the 360 is a shambles !
I dont think it is even a stock problem - it is just basic disorganization. They are not being allocated in a consistent or orderly fashion.
Coupled with the previously mentioned 120,000 consoles rotting and ignored in Japan it is a bit of a cock-up really isn't it ?
